The scrim count (the number of fibers used per square inch in the fabric’s weave) is 8 x 8 with a material weight of 2.36 oz/yd2. These specs give this cover extra strength and durability. For additional protection, each cover has the thickest black underside coating in the industry. EASY TO INSTALL & SECURE – This cover features a 4-foot overlap (extra material beyond pool size), making the cover easier to install. Secure the vinyl-coated steel-core cable through the reinforced metal grommets and tighten with the specially molded metal winch.
