All pre-spooled leadcore reels and combos come professionally pre-spooled by our staff as if I we are going to fish them. The backer used is Trilene Big Game in the appropraite pound test and amout to fill the reel according to the leadcore going on the reel, other backer options available as well. The leader is Trilene Big Game too, with many other mono or fluorocarbon options avaiable upon request. Leadcore is standard 18# or 27# depending on the set-up. The pound test rating is that of the sheath covering the lead inside. Leadcore is measured in colors, each color representing 10 yards. In it’s simplest form, the more colors being trolled the deeper the presentation will fall.
